INFORMATION

Emerald City Storytellers is a Canadian publishing and production company dedicated to excellence in all our creative endeavours. Sharing these visions with as many people as possible simply helps to lessen the voices in our heads. Situated near the 100th meridian (where the Great Plains begin), we bring a down-to-earth and heart-felt touch to our work, which is so often missing in a cruel and misguided world.
We also bring a heavy tolerance to the cold.

NATHAN TOWN

Nathan was born in Brandon, Manitoba back when Pintos were still a trendy car and (save for a stint out on the west coast in his 20’s) has lived there his entire life. Raised on weekend tales from his grandfather based on old Flash Gordon serials, Nathan’s creativity and imagination kind of got a little out of hand. However, a childhood inferiority complex (which took the form of dreams in which he was Aquaman) kept Nathan from properly persuing a penniless career as a writer or artist.

Now in his 30’s, Nathan realizes that Pintos were a horrible, horrible car and that as King of the Seas, Aquaman is in charge of, like, 75% of the earth’s surface. On the creative end of things, Nathan has written the young adult fantasy book Ned Stapleton and the Wrath of the Death Gods and The Oldest Game of All, with plans for several more. He has also scripted and directed a number of short films including Prairie Wiseguys, Surprise Visit (Best Director, 2004 NSI National Exposure Amateur Movie Contest), Untamed Suburbia (2005 Vancouver Celebration of Excellence premiere), and Mosquito (a popular Firefly fanfilm). Nathan is currently in post-production on the retro sci-fi noir feature entitled The Magellan Affair.

Residing in Brandon with his wife and son, Nathan is commonly referred to as Pinto, the childhood nickname he received from his grandfather.

  BOB GREEN

Bob Green has been doing 3D animation and experimental film since 1987.

He thinks Meccanno is better than Lego, Han shot first and that the (new)
Galactica could take the Enterprise any day of the week.

On second thought, he’s not sure about that last one.
He’ll have to get back to you.
